The thickness of the steel structure painting is usually between 25 microns and 150 microns, depending on the purpose of the painting, the requirements of the coating system and the use of the environment and other factors. In the general anti-rust coating system, the thickness of the primer is usually between 40 microns and 70 microns, while the thickness of the top coat is usually between 25 microns and 50 microns. If higher rust resistance or better appearance quality is required, the thickness of the coating may be increased. It should be noted that the thickness of the spray paint should be uniform to ensure the quality of the coating and the anti-rust effect. When the design does not require, the total thickness of the coating dry paint film: outdoor components should be 150um, indoor components should be 125um, the allowable deviation of each coating dry paint film thickness is -5um. The coating thickness of thick fireproof coatings for steel structures is greater than 7mm and less than or equal to 45mm.
